Swan Strings is a 501c3 non-profit music program with a mission to provide free music education, community concerts and sound therapy services to North Texas individuals without access. Swan Strings received its 501c3 status in 2019.
Founding Director, Jess Garland has provided approximately 1,000 hours of free music education and has served 400 children and 50 adults.
Swan Strings is currently offering 8 public music classes and 5 private music classes.
We are partnering with Southwest Adventist Junior Academy, Raul Quintanilla Sr. Middle School, South Dallas Cultural Center, Pleasant Grove Branch Library, Oak Cliff Cultural Center, St. Philip’s School and Community Center, Lake Highlands School of Music and At Last! Boarding.
2024 registration is open for Pleasant Grove Library, Oak Cliff Cultural Center and Lake Highlands School of Music.
Stay tuned for upcoming community concerts in Fall 2024 at South Dallas Cultural Center.
These classes and concerts are sponsored by the City of Dallas’ Offices of Arts and Culture and Moody Fund For the Arts.

Saturday
11 AM Guitar (Oak Cliff Cultural Center)
Adult/Parent students are welcome
